New Tomalok Safety Pin
Tomalok has developed an innovative mechanical override engage/disengage pin designed to provide reliable manual control of an electric drop bolt used on gates and access systems. This mechanism allows users to physically engage or disengage the locking bolt without relying on electrical power or control signals.
The override pin is engineered to interface directly with the internal locking mechanism of the drop bolt. When inserted and rotated into the “engage” position, it mechanically locks the bolt into place, ensuring the gate remains secure even in the absence of electrical power. When moved into the “disengage” position, the pin retracts or lifts the bolt from its locked position, allowing the gate to be opened manually.
This feature is particularly valuable during power outages, system malfunctions, or maintenance work, where dependable access is required without compromising security.
